Ukrainian forces struck two Russian oil refineries and several vessels, including shadow fleet tankers, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a statement posted on X.

Zelenskyy said an oil refinery was hit in Bashkortostan, about 1,300 kilometers from the front line. He credited Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces and the Security Service of Ukraine for the strike.

In the Krasnodar region, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine and the Security Service struck the Afipsky Oil Refinery, roughly 400 kilometers from the front line, he said.

The Ukrainian Navy hit a patrol ship and a shadow fleet tanker in Gelendzhik, about 430 kilometers from the front line, according to the statement. Zelenskyy also said three shadow fleet tankers were struck in the Sea of Azov.

Zelenskyy said the strikes target enterprises and facilities that fuel Russia’s war effort, adding that all reasonable diplomatic proposals remain on the table.

Zelenskyy did not say when the strikes occurred. The claims could not be independently verified. Zelenskyy provided no casualty or damage figures.
