The Israeli military said Wednesday it had struck two naval cruise missile production sites in Tehran that it said were operating under Iran’s ministry of defense.
In a statement, the Israeli military said the sites were targeted in recent days based on IDF intelligence. It said the facilities were used to develop and manufacture long-range naval cruise missiles capable of hitting targets at sea and on land.
The military described the strikes as another step in damaging what it called the Iranian regime’s military production infrastructure.
An IDF post on X said Israeli Air Force fighter jets carried out the operation and struck what it described as two key missile production facilities in Tehran.
No further details on damage, casualties or the exact timing of the strikes were released.
