    “To commemorate his life and legacy, I hereby declare August 1, 2025, as ‘Hulk Hogan Day in Florida,’” DeSantis wrote. “His larger-than-life personality will be missed, as the ‘Hulkster’ was an icon for many.”

    Born in Augusta, Georgia, Terry Bollea moved to Tampa at a young age and began his wrestling career in 1977. He gained international fame through his work with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where he became a household name and was eventually inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice—first in 2005 and again in 2020 as part of the New World Order.
