Sweden’s Magdalena Andersson elected again as the country’s new PM

Swedish parliament for the second time elected on Monday once again Swedish Social Democratic Party leader Magdalena Andersson as Sweden’s new prime minister.

Magdalena Andersson, who resigned seven hours after being chosen as Sweden’s first female prime minister last week, has been elected once again on Monday as the country’s new prime minister.

Earlier last week, just hours after Swedish MPs chose Andersson her budget proposal was defeated and she lost the support of the Green Party from her coalition.

Andersson is scheduled to announce her cabinet members on Tuesday, and she is scheduled to take office after a meeting with King Carl XVI Gustaf, Xinhua news agency reported.
