Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Tuesday that a man selling vegetables was wounded when a Russian drone deliberately detonated beside him in Kherson.
In a statement on X, Zelenskyy described video of the incident as another example of what he called daily Russian drone “safaris” against civilians in the city. He said Russians acknowledged the attack and boasted about it.

Zelenskyy asked other nations to increase pressure on Russia, limit its capacity to wage war and ensure real security guarantees. He said those steps would be required to protect civilians and force Russia to make peace.
He also called for cooperation among Finland, Kazakhstan, the Baltic states, Poland, South Caucasus countries, Romania and Moldova. Zelenskyy said the countries should work together on security guarantees and efforts to end the war.
