A Russian strike hit a five-story residential building in Zaporizhzhia, killing one person and injuring dozens, including children, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He said emergency services are on site and responding.
Zelenskyy added that overnight Russia launched nearly 540 drones, eight ballistic missiles, and dozens of other missiles aimed at civilian life, sparking fires and damaging homes and businesses.

Ukraine’s Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko and Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko have just reported the first known circumstances of the horrendous murder in Lviv. He also referenced Thursday’s massive barrage on Kyiv that left at least 23 people dead — including four children — with eight people still unaccounted for and 53 injured, while urging “strong sanctions” and tougher international pressure on Moscow.
