Up to 12 British defense companies will join Ukraine’s Avengers Labs, making the United Kingdom the platform’s first international partner, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry said in a post on X.
Avengers Labs allows companies to train artificial intelligence models for unmanned systems using real battlefield data. British participants will be able to train and test their models within the platform, according to the ministry.
The data will remain inside a secure environment and cannot be downloaded or transferred outside the system, the ministry said.
More than 30 Ukrainian defense companies currently use Avengers Labs. Three solutions developed through the platform are already in use on the battlefield, according to the ministry.
Ukraine said opening the platform to international cooperation would combine its combat experience with partner countries’ technological capabilities. The effort is intended to support joint development of artificial intelligence for unmanned systems.

The ministry did not name the British companies or provide a specific timetable beyond saying their participation would begin soon.
