President Donald Trump said Tuesday in a post on Truth Social that “a whole civilization will die tonight” as he issued a new warning tied to Iran.
Trump wrote that he did not want that outcome to happen, but added that it “probably will.” The post did not explain what action he was referring to or provide any operational details.
In the same message, Trump said there had been “Complete and Total Regime Change” and claimed that “different, smarter, and less radicalized minds” could prevail. He said that might allow something “revolutionarily wonderful” to happen, though he gave no further explanation.
Trump also called the moment one of the most important in the “long and complex history of the World.” He wrote that 47 years of “extortion, corruption, and death” would finally end and closed the post by saying, “God Bless the Great People of Iran!”
