President Donald Trump on Sunday pushed back against critics of his administration’s Iran nuclear negotiations, saying they are opposing an agreement that has not yet been finalized or made public.
“It isn’t even fully negotiated yet,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Nobody has seen it, or knows what it is.”
Trump directed his criticism at unnamed opponents, writing: “Don’t listen to the losers, who are critical about something they know nothing about.”
He also drew a sharp contrast with the nuclear agreement reached under President Barack Obama, claiming it handed Iran “massive amounts of CASH” and “a clear and open path to a Nuclear Weapon.”
Trump gave no details on the current negotiations, their status, or a timeline for any agreement.
“If I make a deal with Iran, it will be a good and proper one,” he wrote. “I don’t make bad deals.”
