    Cessna Jet Crashes at Statesville Airport; Multiple Dead, Reports Say

    Officials say a Cessna C550 went down around 10:15 a.m. during landing; the FAA is investigating.

    A business jet crashed on Thursday morning, at Statesville Regional Airport in North Carolina, and local officials said there were many deaths.

    Statesville Regional Airport said that the crash happened around 10:15 a.m. while the plane was landing. The Federal Aviation Administration was on its way to look into it. The airport said that the they didn’t have any more information right away, but they would send out updates as soon as they got additional information.
