The San Antonio concert is part of Shakira’s “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” world tour, which kicked off in North America earlier this summer. The tour, named after her 2024 studio album, has been praised for blending high-energy performances with social impact messaging. Friday’s concert at the Frost Bank Center drew thousands of fans from across Texas.
This isn’t the first time Shakira has used her platform for relief efforts — she has previously supported hurricane victims, Venezuelan refugees, and children’s charities through her Barefoot Foundation and public donations.
