Local officials reported damage at the Black Sea port of Tuapse. Two foreign civilian vessels caught fire and port infrastructure was hit; no injuries were reported, the regional operational headquarters said. Fires were later extinguished.
Ukraine described a major overnight assault. Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia launched 79 drones and two Iskander-M ballistic missiles, and that air defenses shot down 67 drones, with strikes recorded in several locations.
Separately, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia struck regions including Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Odesa, resulting in dead and wounded. He thanked emergency services and said partners are supporting Ukraine’s energy sector ahead of winter.
