Early reports from Kathmandu say protesters in Gen-Z-led demonstrations attacked former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba and his wife, Arzu Rana Deuba, on Tuesday.
As riots expanded across the country, other accounts suggest that protesters set fires at Singha Durbar, the Parliament building, and the homes of important political leaders.
Authorities haven’t given out much information on injuries or arrests.
