    Powerball Jackpot Jumps to $1.1 Billion for Labor Day Drawing

    No winner Saturday; Powerball jackpot $1.1 billion moves to the Labor Day drawing with a $498.4 million cash option.

    With no jackpot winner on Saturday night, the Powerball grand prize has climbed to an estimated $1.1 billion for the Labor Day drawing on Monday, Sept. 1, 2025 — the game’s fifth-largest prize. The cash option is estimated at $498.4 million, before taxes. The Saturday, Aug. 30 numbers were 3, 18, 22, 27, 33 with red Powerball 17 and a Power Play of 3X, according to Powerball. “America has waited all year for the chance to play for a billion-dollar jackpot, and what better time than Labor Day for a $1.1 billion Powerball drawing!” said Matt Strawn, Powerball Product Group Chair and Iowa Lottery CEO.

    Nine tickets matched all five white balls, and each ticket won $1 million. These tickets were sold in California (4), Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. Three tickets in Colorado, Indiana, and New Hampshire won $2 million with Power Play. The Powerball said 115 more tickets won $50,000 and 27 more tickets won $150,000. The drawing on Monday will be the 40th since the last jackpot was won on May 31, 2025. Every night at 10:59 p.m. ET, the drawings take place. In 45 states of US including Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, you can get tickets for $2.
