A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI near the Tucson area home of missing 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie after reporters saw the man slowly drive past the home multiple times late Thursday, Feb. 26, according to NewsNation reporter Brian Entin.
The man’s identity was not immediately released, but in footage shared by NewsNation reporter Brian Entin, deputies were seen talking to the man for about 20 minutes before giving the man a field sobriety test, leading to his arrest, according to the report by TMZ, which said the man’s cell phone, where the photographer saw the photo of missing woman Nancy Guthrie, was discovered by the photographer, prompting the photographer to report the incident to authorities.
The arrest came as new video emerged of the missing woman’s neighbor’s home, according to Fox News Digital, which reported that the neighbor, who had installed a Ring camera, had the camera installed at the front of the home, near the rear exit of the neighborhood, where 12 vehicles were seen passing the home between midnight and 6 a.m. on Feb. 1, with one of the vehicles being caught on camera at 2:36 a.m., the report said, adding that the time is about eight minutes after the pacemaker synced with the missing woman’s iPhone.
Guthrie, the mother of Today show host Savannah Guthrie, went missing on Feb. 1, and the FBI, in conjunction with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, is seeking the public’s assistance in the search for the missing woman, while the family offered a $1 million reward for information leading to the safe return of the missing woman, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, which reported that the missing woman’s doorbell camera was shut off at 1:47 a.m., while the pacemaker app was shut off at 2:28 a.m., according to the report by People Magazine, while the missing woman’s porch camera caught footage of the missing woman’s neighbor, who was seen wearing a mask, holding a gun, and wearing a backpack.
