Aerosmith, Yungblud announce collaborative single ‘My Only Angel’

Aerosmith’s first original release in more than a decade follows the Ozzy Osbourne VMA tribute; pre-saves are live, release date pending.

Aerosmith and British musician Yungblud debuted a new single called “My Only Angel” on Monday. They posted short videos from the studio on X.

The posts supplied a hint about the title and a short clip of the session, but they didn’t disclose when it will be released.

The song is Aerosmith’s first new original song in more than ten years. Their previous studio album, “Music From Another Dimension!” came released in 2012.

After their legendary tribute to Ozzy Osbourne at the MTV Video Music Awards last week, when Steven Tyler and Joe Perry joined Yungblud on a medley of Ozzy classics, they decided to work together.

A source familiar with the artist team says that the pre-save links are now up, but the artists’ teams still have more news to share.

Early reports said that the song included Tyler’s rock vocals and Yungblud’s punk edge.

They’ve been posting the preview movie on social media to get people excited, but they haven’t stated when it will come out.
