Today I end my term as prime minister. — Alexandru Munteanu
He took the job, he said, believing he could change things for the better — and chose to walk away the moment that stopped being true.
Munteanu said that he will continue to serve Moldova in whatever capacity comes next, in the public or private sector, wherever he lives. He said duty to country was about commitment, not job description.
The outgoing prime minister thanked to his ministers and their teams, saying they had worked professionally and loyally.
