Fifteen more Palestinian bodies were returned to Gaza under a ceasefire arrangement, according to Anadolu Agency, citing Gaza’s Health Ministry.
The ministry said the latest handover brings the total number of bodies repatriated to 300 since the ceasefire took effect on Oct. 10.
Forensic teams have identified 89 of the dead and are still examining them according to recognized medical norms before giving the bodies back to their relatives.
The ministry said that the transfers were made through the International Committee of the Red Cross. It also said that identification work is still going on and that more information will be sent out once families are informed.
