Coast Guard Searches for Missing Medical Jet With 6 Aboard

The FAA reported losing contact with the Gulfstream G100, according to the Coast Guard, which has launched air and surface crews.

A medical transport jet carrying six people went missing early Saturday while flying from Bermuda to Boston, prompting a U.S. Coast Guard search off Nantucket, Massachusetts, federal authorities said.

The Federal Aviation Administration reported losing contact with the plane, a Gulfstream G100 with the tail number CGRJP, according to posts on X from U.S. Coast Guard Northeast.

Coast Guard air and surface crews have launched to search for the aircraft.

The posts did not identify the people aboard or say what led to the loss of contact.

The Coast Guard said it would provide updates as more information becomes available.
