What happened
According to a report by AFP, the theft occurred on July 8 when the rear window of a rental car used by Beyoncé’s choreographer Christopher Grant and a dancer was smashed in Atlanta. Grant told police their luggage had been stolen from the vehicle.
The stolen items included several jump drives containing unreleased, watermarked tracks, concert footage, show plans, and past and future setlists. Also reported missing were an Apple MacBook, high-end clothing, and headphones.
Ongoing investigation
Atlanta Police stated that a search of the area where the MacBook and headphones had pinged their last location did not result in any recoveries. A warrant has been issued for a suspect, who has not yet been named and remains at large.
The Atlanta Police Department confirmed the theft in an online statement and said the case is active and ongoing.
