Four people were shot at a house party in the 1600 block of 10th Street S in Arlington, and the gunman fled on foot, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
Three victims were taken to an area hospital, police said. A fourth later went to a hospital on their own, bringing the total to two adult men and two adult women receiving treatment.
Police have not released the victims’ names or conditions.
According to preliminary information from police, a dispute at the party came before the shooting. The department did not describe the dispute.
Police described the suspect as a Black man wearing denim. A police helicopter joined the search, scanning the area from the air.
No arrest has been announced.
Officers remained on scene investigating. The department warned residents to expect continued police activity and to avoid the area.
