Nepal Police said officers recovered about Rs 1.5 crore in cash, gold valued at an estimated Rs 50 crore and important documents from a flood-affected Agriculture Development Bank branch in Trishuli.
Based on the police figures, the cash and gold had a combined value of about Rs 51.5 crore. Officers moved the assets and records from the Trishuli Dhunge branch to a secure location.
Police said the operation required approximately eight hours of continuous work. The X post included video footage of the operation.
