Ukrainian forces struck logistics facilities and an oil depot in Russia’s Moscow region and hit six vessels in the Black Sea, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Monday.
Zelenskyy said on X the targets were more than 400 kilometers from Ukraine’s border and included two “shadow fleet” tankers and four cargo ships at sea.

The strikes followed Russian ballistic missile and drone attacks Sunday that killed at least eight people, Ukrainian officials said, including one in Kyiv, where 15 were wounded, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on Telegram.
Zelenskyy called it one of Russia’s largest ballistic missile attacks in a statement Sunday and urged partners to speed up air defense deliveries.
Moscow region Governor Andrei Vorobyov acknowledged the attack, claimed it was repelled and reported two injuries, the Kyiv Post reported. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said more than 400 Ukrainian drones flew toward the capital, with 85 intercepted near the city, The Associated Press reported.
The Astra news outlet reported fires at a Podolsk oil depot and other sites; the reports could not be independently verified.
The attack came two days after Ukrainian strikes hit logistics centers in the Moscow and Tambov regions and an oil depot in Noginsk, CNBC reported.
