President Donald Trump warned Iran on Sunday that the United States would strike again, and harder, unless Tehran halts what he called its “highly paid proxies” in Lebanon.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said Iran “must immediately stop their highly paid PROXIES in Lebanon from causing trouble.” He warned that if it did not, “we’ll hit Iran very hard again, just like we did last week, only harder.”

Trump also responded to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, who has insisted Iran will not give up uranium enrichment, warning Tehran to soften its position if it wants a future agreement with Washington.
“He better watch his mouth. He better shape up, or we will take over the rest of the country,” Trump told Fox News.
Trey Yingst, chief foreign correspondent at Fox News, spoke with the president for more than 20 minutes on Sunday morning.
Trump said he warned Iranian officials against closing the Strait of Hormuz. “You close it and you won’t have a country,” he said. “You won’t even make it back to your f—ing country.”
Trump said the United States “may take over the Strait, if we have to,” and added, “If they don’t make a deal, we’ll collect tolls.”
He also said the United States could become the “Guardian Angel” of the strait and take 20% of the oil.
