Nine students were taken to area hospitals for observation after a school bus was struck at a busy Everett, Massachusetts intersection, authorities said.
The crash happened at Broadway and Langdon Street. Eleven students were on board at the time, Everett Police Department Chief Paul Strong and School Superintendent William Hart said in a joint statement. No serious injuries were reported.
WCVB posted surveillance footage that it said showed the school bus crossing a busy street before a black vehicle struck the side of the bus.
The bus was towed. The crash is backing up traffic on Route 99, officials said.
All parents have been notified and school officials responded to the scene, Strong and Hart said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
