Trump Tells Iran ‘Clock Is Ticking,’ Warns There May Be ‘Nothing Left’

Trump’s Truth Social post used direct language as military-themed images involving Iran circulated online.

President Donald Trump warned Iran on Sunday that it must move quickly, saying in a Truth Social post that “the Clock is Ticking” and that “time is of the essence.”

“For Iran, the Clock is Ticking, and they better get moving, FAST, or there won’t be anything left of them. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!” Trump wrote.

The post did not say what action Trump wants Iran to take. It also did not explain what consequences Tehran could face if it does not respond.

The warning came as military-themed images involving Iran circulated online. One image shows Iran at the center of a regional map, partly covered by a U.S. flag, with arrows pointing toward the country from several directions. The graphic appears to portray Iran as under pressure.

Another image shows digitally rendered scenes of U.S. military action against Iranian-marked targets. One scene shows a drone striking boats marked with Iranian flags under the phrase “BYE BYE, ‘Fast Boats.’” Another shows a U.S. warship firing what appears to be a laser at an aircraft marked with an Iranian flag, with the caption, “Lasers: Bing, Bing, GONE!!!”

The images appear to be symbolic or digitally created graphics. They should not be treated as confirmed footage of actual military action.

Taken together, Trump’s written warning and the military-themed imagery appear intended to project pressure on Iran. But the post leaves key questions unanswered, including whether the message is tied to diplomacy, military planning or a broader regional security warning.
