Popular Bollywood star Deepika Padukone said she is now the voice of Meta’s AI assistant and unveiled the collaboration in a social video.
“Okay, so this is pretty cool I think! I’m now part of Meta AI and you can chat with my voice in English across India, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. Try it and let me know what you think!,” she wrote on Instagram.
Meta said Padukone’s voice is available on its apps and Ray-Ban Meta glasses as part of new AI features rolling out, according to Meta.
Meta has signalled more updates and regional features to come. Timing and additional markets were not immediately announced.
