Katy Perry, a Grammy-winning singer, and former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau were seen kissing aboard a yacht off Santa Barbara, California, amid a relationship announcement.
Photographs published Saturday appear to show singer Katy Perry and former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau kissing and embracing aboard Perry’s yacht, the Caravelle, off the California coast.
The images show Perry, 40, in a black swimsuit and Trudeau, 53, shirtless in jeans. The pair have not commented publicly. According to Daily Mail, the pictures were taken in late September.
An eyewitness told the British outlet the photos were shot from a passing whale-watching boat and captured the couple kissing on the upper deck. Daily Mail reported the yacht was near Santa Barbara.
Public sightings of the pair date to July, when they were seen dining together at Montreal restaurant Le Violon and later on a casual walk in Mount Royal Park; Trudeau also attended Perry’s concert in the city that week, according to TMZ.
Both have recently ended long-term relationships. Perry and actor Orlando Bloom confirmed their split in July. Other-side, Trudeau and Sophie Grégoire announced their separation in 2023.
Other entertainment outlets have republished or summarized the yacht images and details, including Page Six. Virginia Times has not independently verified the original photographs.
