A Bealeton, Virginia woman has been ordered to serve 90 years for sex offenses involving children, following a Sept. 15, 2025, sentencing in Fauquier County Circuit Court, according to the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office.
Anna Grace Layher, 28, got two life sentences, however most of the term was suspended. One sentence was for raping a child under 13, and the other was for object sexual penetration of a child under 13. The sheriff’s office indicated that the 50-year state sentence will begin after the 40-year federal sentence for sexually abusing children. On June 5, 2025, Layher admitted to the state charges.
The sheriff’s office said that the federal complaint was based on actions that took place in 2023 and 2024, when Layher made sexually explicit recordings and pictures of two kids she knew and transmitted them to Davey Jonathan Sisk. Layher was sentenced in the Eastern District of Virginia on Sept. 5, 2024. Sisk—then 29 and living in Culpeper—received 40 years in federal prison for sexually exploiting and attempting to sexually exploit a child and for receiving child pornography. Authorities reported that his case ended in the Western District of Virginia in October 2024.
If Layher is ever released, she must register as a sex offender and will remain on lifetime supervised probation. A lifetime protective order bars her from contacting the victims, according to prosecutors.
Senior Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorneys A. Romero and A. Cassandra of the Fauquier County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office prosecuted the local case. The investigation involved Lieutenant D. Arrington of the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division and special agents with Homeland Security Investigations, the sheriff’s office noted.
Officials stated the case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a program initiated by the U.S. Department of Justice in 2006 to centralize federal, state, and local resources to combat child sexual exploitation on the Internet and locate and rescue victims.
