President Donald J. Trump has officially signed the One Big Beautiful Bill into law, marking a historic legislative milestone on the eve of America’s 249th Independence Day. The signing ceremony took place Friday morning at the White House.
The legislation includes sweeping reforms across immigration, economic development, border security, and infrastructure spending. Following a contentious debate in Congress, the bill passed the House by a narrow margin of 218–214 and cleared the Senate late Thursday evening.
Trump signed the bill in front of a cheering crowd, calling it “the most beautiful and powerful legislation ever created for the American people.” Key elements of the bill are expected to roll out over the coming months as part of the administration’s 2025 agenda.
